  2. I thought I should notify you because I respect you and your work very much, but someone used your artwork of Mineko (the one in this video) for a celtic / folk music compilation – without giving any credit to you whatsoever, just claiming they got it from Shutterstock. This is the link to the video:

  3. Hello Dao Le!

I first saw MINEKO about 2 years ago.

I remember when I saw the illustration of you working with a knife on a tree, carving wooden animals, I was impressed by the process.

I like her style, but I fell in love with her because of her world view and the element of excitement that makes me wonder 'who is she?

I also create comics and other works where I create my own made-up male elf characters to move the story along, but this video was the one that inspired me and made me realize, 'My elf is not mysterious enough like her.

I felt that this video was one that made me think a lot about 'how she came to take on this battle…' and I watched it with a lot of excitement.

MINEKO's other illustrations were also wonderful, giving us a glimpse into her growth process, what kind of training she went through, and what kind of childhood she had.

I couldn't find a process video, but one of my favorite pieces was "an illustration that looks like he is about to wish for a battle with the horde"!

Everything she's been through has been for this now! I was moved by the strong sense of narrative that came through in this illustration.

(The design is wonderful, as is the multiplication of kunai and legal tools made of her aura!)

If Dao Le would eventually put out an art book or content compiling MINEKO's story, I'd definitely buy it!

I have introduced Dao Le to other fellow painters and my followers, and they also have a good impression of him!

I look forward to seeing more of your work in the future. I am looking forward to seeing more of your work. I know times are tough with the Corona, but please take care of yourself and keep up the good work.
