How to record Speed painting in Photoshop [Time lapse] for free using OBS [Win 7]

Simple look at how to record Photoshop using Open Broadcaster.
To restate the video the optimal settings I find for timelapse are:

Aero – Disabled
CBR – Off
QB – 8
1500kbs/1000kbs – max bitrate
0-1000kbs – buffer rate
CFR – 16
FPS – 3 – 6

You can download Open Broadcaster here: https://obsproject.com/

After that’s all done take it into your favorite video editing software and crank up the speed to at least 100% (30 fps) or greater.

1 hour – 100-150%
2 hours 250-300%
6 hours 1000%+

  5. this is a great no BS tutorial. thanks. Yeah I am working with windows 8, integrated graphics, photoshop and the cursor show up — but not the image files that i am working on — it shows up as photoshop's default workspace background as if no image files were open.. odd. Anyone else encounter this?
