How to paint a child's face in Photoshop – Speedpaint

From sketch to finished painting watch me quickly take this piece through in 10 mins. This speedpainting originally took over 2 hours to create using a photo of my son as reference. I’m using the Wacom Cintiq 27QHD & Photoshop with only 2 custom brushes which I created to texture the face and jumper.

Join me on Patreon NOW to see the full version with voice-over where I explain the exact method of drawing & painting children and getting the face just right. (Will also be on Gumtree soon).

Until next time, keep on painting!
Lawrence.

  1. I love the detail and the music goes with it as well you spend all for long time doing this I can see that.
Laurence I have a question,.. I have cinque 24 HD Touch but I'm looking to replace it. I mainly use Autodesk products 3ds Max, Mudbox so on and so on you get the idea I'm not too worried about cost but at the moment there just seems to be half-hearted a equipment out there what would you recommend or should I wait….?.
